Bulletin, 18 May (Data publication, proxy payment cards, House services fair, accessing your P60 and the Scheme consultation)
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and hope you have had the opportunity to reflect on your mental health. Should you need any support, you can access various services via the Parliamentary intranet.
We want to make you aware that the information in your Task Manager in Business World will now state if it relates to a reimbursement or payment card claim and will also include your region within the task description.
This change will be made at 17.00pm today and will not affect how tasks are processed or impact how you submit tasks but we hope you find the additional information helpful.

Data publication – 18 May
IPSA today published figures for business costs incurred by MPs in December 2022 and January 2023.
This is the latest in our routine bi-monthly publication of MPs’ business costs.
The next publication is due on 13 July 2023.
For more information, visit MPs’ staffing and business costs.
Proxy payment cards
All proxies who help their MP with their business costs claims can now apply for their own payment card.
All proxies who help their MP with their business costs claims can now apply for their own payment card.
Following feedback from users we are raising the single transaction limit to £650.
There are some specific rules in place to ensure we have good oversight of the use of payment cards and to support MPs as they remain liable for all costs incurred on the cards.
For more information, visit Proxy payment cards guidance on IPSA Online.
House services fair
IPSA will be at the House Services Fair at Portcullis House next week, on 22 and 23 May.
Please come along to meet your Account Managers, and Payroll and HOST representatives, all of whom will be available to answer your queries.
Alternatively, you can book an appointment.
Scheme consultation
Thank you to everyone who has contributed and given feedback on the latest proposed changes to The Scheme of MPs’ Staffing and Business Costs.
In light of the expected changes to constituency boundaries and the repeal of the Fixed Term Parliaments Act, we are looking at the impact on rules concerning Loss of Office Payments (LOOP) and winding-up payments.
We are proposing changes to the Scheme which would clarify the eligibility rules and ensure that they are fair and provide the appropriate support to MPs leaving Parliament.
We are keen to hear the views of MPs, their staff, and our wider stakeholders on these changes and how best they should be implemented.
The consultation also asks some more general questions about the support provided to MPs and their staff when leaving Parliament.
View the full consultation document on our website.
You can use our quick and easy online survey.
You can also email consultation@theipsa.org.uk if you prefer.
Please submit your response by 11.59pm on 2 June 2023.
Accessing your P60
P60s are available on IPSA Online. You can find it under 'My Information and Payslips', and by navigating to the paperclip icon in the top right corner.
Your P60 shows the taxable salary you've been paid and the tax you’ve paid on your salary in the tax year (6 April to 5 April).
It does not include Members’ pension deductions or Members' fund deductions as these are non-taxable.
Visit Accessing your P60 on IPSA Online for guidance on how to view, download and print your P60.
