Year-end 2022-2023

The year-end process is an important part of the accounting calendar and applies to all organisations.

Information provided at year-end is part of the annual reporting summary which underpins our work to provide assurance to the general public that MPs’ use of public money is well regulated.

Our CEO has written a letter outlining the year-end process, where to find our comprehensive guidance and the assistance available to you.

This year our guidance is shorter and clearer, with diagrams to help you decide which claims to put on your Year-end Form.

We are running live webinars which will be recorded so you can watch at a time that suits you best.

We have already started to speak to offices that may need our help, including those who are new to the exercise – and we will continue to contact you throughout the coming months.

If you need help, please do contact us at info@theipsa.org.uk and our account managers are ready to guide you through the process.

You must complete your year-end Form and submit it to info@theipsa.org.uk by 23:59 on 14 April 2023.

We will write to you by the end of July if it appears you have overspent on any of your 2022-23 budgets, and we will ask for repayment where necessary.
